To help people run their own OzHadou tournaments, here we provide a collection of resource files. Permission is granted for people to downloaded (and print) these for personal use.

OzHadou Tournament Rules

This pdf file contains the latest version of the OzHadou Tournament Rules. These are the general rules that we apply to all OzHadou tournaments, including the OzHadou Nationals (OHN).

The eBracket

The eBracket is an automated double elimination bracket built in Google Docs.

View the latest eBracket here.

To save a copy to edit you’ll need a Google Account.

Once you have your own copy, select the size bracket you need and enter your players into the yellow “Player Seeds” section on the right. Set the number of games to win per set at the top, and then enter the match scores into the boxes provided on the bracket. The eBracket will automatically update each match for you, and generate full results on the left.

One of the great features of Google Docs is that you can publish your bracket to the web where people can see updates in real time. You can also share access with multiple tournament staff members for collaborative bracket updates.

Bracket Seed Generator (BSG)

This is an Excel spreadsheet with macros designed to generate seeds automatically. The BSG includes ranked and regional seeding functionality, along with automated pool generation for large tournaments.

Download the BSG here.

For instructions on how to use the BSG, read the Bracketed series of blog articles.

OzHadou Brackets and Sign-Up Sheet

There are 3 different bracket sizes available, as well as a pre-formatted sign-up sheet. Note that these files all require MS Word. Image files are also available for the double elimination brackets.

There’s also a round robin file for exhibitions between 2 teams of players.
