Sonic Boom 14 wrapped up last weekend at Guf Brisbane featuring another healthy bracket and a special interstate guest. Melbourne’s Zed made a guest appearance at Sonic Boom and ended up taking the entire bracket. The rest of the top 3 was as follows:

Stick Addiction‘s monthly meet up returns to Three D6 in Canberra this Saturday, February 18th. Doors open at 11am and the Street Fighter V bracket will start at 1pm. This Saturday we will not be running the usual CCH, but at the same venue Carnage will be running Stay Sharp- a SFV round robin tournament.

They will be using 3 of the 5 tables so casuals are still available. The tables will be set up upon arrival so please keep them as they are until the tournament is over then it’s free reign. Tournament should be done in a few hours.
The venue is opening at the usual time of 3PM.

Sonic Boom XII took place at Guf Brisbane last weekend with another strong turnout from the local scene. Queensland welcomed in Season 2 of Street Fighter V with a fierce bracket featuring over 20 entrants. Additionally, plenty of other faces came down for casuals in both Guilty Gear XRD Revelator and Tekken. The results can be found below:

The newly formed Team Solid will be hosting 2017’s first Sonic Boom in just a couple of short weeks at GUF Brisbane. PC setups will be used for SFV, so be sure to bring a compatible controller with you on the day. Here are the details:
