tournament rules

Rules for the singles CvS2 tournament are as follows:

• Game version: Dreamcast (Japan).
• Game settings: Versus Mode, Ratio Mode, 99-second timer, Speed 3, Damage 2.
• Double Elimination.
• All matches are single Game until the semi-finals (i.e. last match in the winners and losers brackets). Semi-finals and grand final are best of 3 Games.
• Evil Ryu, Orochi Iori, Shin Akuma and God Rugal are not permitted in tournament play.
• EX Grooves are not permitted in tournament play.
• Random select may not be used in tournament play.
• You may only use each character once on a team (e.g. Blanka/Blanka/Sagat is not allowed).
• Team order switching at the “Versus” screen is permitted.
• Roll cancel is permitted.

The entry fee for the CvS2 Singles will be $5.
